Big Leap Digital was engaged by London based startup Formulr to develop and maintain their suite of Android and iOS apps.
We were involved in all aspects of this project including scoping, design, development, database management hosting and maintenance.
Creating Formulr involved a the Big Leap Digital team developing a range of industry leading app functionality to provide a world class social media platform tailored for rev heads. Features included live race updates, results, statistics, commentary as well as instant push notifications.
The Big Leap team was intimately involved in scoping this project from the outset, including R+D into latest social media trends and functionality options to engage users and keep them coming back.
Following scoping, we worked closely with the client to design every view of the app functionality in order to provide a beautiful and simple UX whilst considering unique iOS and Android specifications.
The back end and database phase involved developing a custom way to connect users, manage content and provide push and email notifications to maximize engagement.
Following the launch of version 1.1 in August 2016, Big Leap Digital continued to be engaged to deliver more than 20 app updates to add new features and UI improvements.
