UI stands for User interface (UI) design and is development part of the process that focuses of look and style.

Basically, UI includes every visual element a user of a software application including things like checkboxes, radio buttons, dropdown lists, list boxes, buttons, toggles, text fields, date field, sliders, search fields, icons, fonts, colours and branding.

A quality UI designer will be able to balance visual attractiveness with User Experience (UX) considerations to develop a software that is both beautiful to the eye and simple to use.
