HTML

HTML or Hypertext Markup Language is one of the oldest but still common programming languages. Many believe the HTML concept was first invesnted Tim Berners-Lee in late 1991 when he published a description of by"HTML Tags”.

Developers use HTML to create and structure sections, paragraphs, headings, links etc for software, websites and mobile applications. It works in a similar way to how Microsoft Word works, allowing users to format text sections.

Some of the most common are applications of HTML are:

• <br> indicates ‘line break’
• <b> indicates ‘bold’
• <i> indicates ‘italics’
• <p1> to <p10> indicate headings
